Honey, feel that earthquake?

For reasons i wont explain here, i only slept 3 hours Friday Night, so last night i just fall asleep and my husband wakes me saying ‘did you feel that’ … seems he was lying in bed, heard the quake coming (doppler effect rumble) and it moved us and passed by.

No i remember saying “no i am asleep and cant even stay awake to finish this sentence.” Oh i was so tired. I’m like - if the house is caving - then i’ll wake up! heehee

What’s been up?

Well I can’t go into detail rigth now… i need to start making dinner. I wanted to quickly mention an experience i JUST had….

There is an online design contest site. Company’s submit what they need and the prize money and designers sumbit their art. Well I just spent the better portion of my day on one that was ending today. I submitted 5 and they were immediatly elimiated!

The contest holder can eliminate ones thought to miss the goal and such. But mine was immediate?! I wonder if he’s got one picked already. it was so odd. I admit i am bummed but only in the fact they they seem to not even be considered. it was so odd. Otherwide I’m ok with it. I mean i may not have the best design in their eyes but in my heart - my designs were right on what they wanted!!!

anyway i just want to encourage when we get hurt for a lot of work done and not recognized by others - welcome to our flesh. All in all it doesn’t matter. What does is our hearts. I so enjoyed doing it, was glad for my results and can move on. If someone just walks all over it, oh well. My God still loves me. Even though I missed most of my day with my kids and such, I’m forgiven.

If you want this kind of peace in life following great things and not-so-great things, I encourage you to learn about Jesus. His death and resurecction for you and His return in the future, How awesome life can be among all this hurt and pain. Leave the flesh and live inthe Spirit with Jesus Christ!

Because of Him, I am not mad or depressed over this. Learn and move on, life it too short here on earth. I am eager for my eternal life in Heaven!

We scream for Ice Cream

On my march 2007 mom’s list we were talking about making ice cream, this was my reply and i wanted to share it here too:

For my 2 Quart cuisinart machine it says:

Simple Vanilla Ice Cream (RECIPE IN BOOK)

1-1/2 cups whole milk

1-1/8 cups sugar

3 cups heavy cream

1-1/2 Tablespoons pure vanilla extract

Directions: Stir ingredients ina bowl till sugar dissolves and then pour in machine according to directions.

1 heaping cup sugar or splenda

2 cups heavy cream

2 Tablespoons pure vanilla extract

Great tip to SAVE money monthly!

Read this in FULL - it has great tips to save. Like keeping you car maintained can save on your MPG! and more. Do what you can if you feel strapped. I know we are and it does help. We’re not saving 451 like this article because we’re already at the bare minimum. I know any and all tips HELP!
