I feel like I always use this headline… I guess if I blogged daily, you would know what I am up to, so I like to do these ‘catch up’ blog posts. I hope it’s ok.
Today, Lydia has a friend over to play. I’m actually getting things done around the house, it’s great for her to have friends over. (SIDE STORY: Lydia’s friend’s mom’s friend’s huband was shot and died, so she’s at the funeral today and I offered to watch her daughter. I don’t know any other details, So I just pray for the widow and her two young children. I prasy they know they have an eternal Father).
While they played I did Battery Exchange! Friends of our just came down from the states and blessed us with Batteries for the kids toys and for our smoke detectors (sitting out for DH to change). So I lost count, but I replaced a lot of AA batteries in the kids toys. These are vital when the power goes out and they need toys to play with especially ay night too.
Otherwise, I have been trying to get better. I feel much better and hope and pray the bug is gone! Lydia is better too. Levi II’s arm seem to be better as well. Praise God for His healing power and for the prayers people have helped us say!
I have begun a new Bible study, and it’s good to be with women weekly sharing God’s Love! I have enjoyed the three Beth Moore studies and now we’re doing something different. I read some reviews on it and they are mixed but all in all God Reigns!
It is a goal of mine to do so many things, but as I realize, I can only do what is humanly possible and to have peaceful balance. So I am slowing down business work. Doing more family things, and enjoying praying and being in ministry where I can. I am helping a conference for missionaries in Guatemala. This will be my 3rd one and I keep learning new things, it’s great! I admit I am procrastinating the homeschool thing but know I am closer than I was to reeding up on what I will do for Lydia’s eduction!
The time has been long enough and I need to check on the kids. Be Right Back….
Ok back after lunch and stuff.
The kids have been taking photos with the FP camera since the batteries work! In another post I will put up some pics. too cute!
Well I need to go get my sewing machine from a friend. Off to be a wife and mommy. Until next time.

I was surfing my photo shop resources and came across this on a website about copyright and ‘borrowing’ for making something new. This talks about sampling for music, but this can be similar in graphic art with images and such. So many intepretations of what’s what!
watch this and tell me what you think:

My in-laws’ last day here, I got so sick!!! My daughter did to. Then they left and the same day we got friends to host for four days. I was about 80% cooking and cleaning and hosting. I had a missions committee meeting i wasn’t ready for and then our cash has run out way before the month’s end. So we get creative! God is awesome and I rework leftovers and dig in the back of the pantry and whip up some good dinners.
The rain keeps coming and our windows leak. I am so thank ful for our home and that we dont have dirt floors like many around us. I pray God leads others to help us get solid foundations and walls (homes) for those who God leads us to help. We very much need to raise for the ministry. Prsay with us in how God has us to do all this His Way in His Time.
As our friends left today, i am reminded of the states and how i do miss it some, but we’ll be there soon enough in October. My meering today went well and seems i was as prepared as i needed to be. The rains were ok for us to get home, but we came home to more water on the floor and calls about flooded streets and retaining walls that fell on the roads.
No matter where you live, know others live differently. Lift others in prayer for them to seek God in everything!

Well we picked up my sister in law and her family Monday. They came from New Zealand. I think they are enjoying their time. It can be a culture shock and stimulation overload coming here.
By Wednesday, we get an email – a friend’s future mother-in-law is kidnapped. Followed many hours later with a phone call, a friend of ours mother was dying. Many prayers lifted for sure. By Thursday night (which we had a 4.7 quake go by), the kidnapped mother was returned after a fraction of the ransom was paid. By Friday afternoon, our friend’s dying mother went to be with the Lord eternally. All this not with out other things going on.
Our son sprained his arm. Poor guy has a wrapped up arm and tiny sling. We’re a bit tight in project stuff. I’m not eating the ‘best’ things for me but I’m enjoying our company and excited about more next week!!!
Love to you and your family. If you haven’t… I encourage you to seek, accept, and live Jesus!
