This earth was blessed with a girl named Ellie for 9 years. I invite you to read Ellie’s mom’s blog. She has taught me for sure to be a better mom all around. I felt I already cherished each day with my children, never knowing what God has planned for me or them, but Sarah has really helped me go an extra mile in cherishing the responsibility God has blessed me with… I’m a wife and a mother of two and I do not take these roles lightly.
Happy Birthday Ellie in Heaven, we know you are dancing with the Angels.

We can all use grocery deals these days… I am not in the states, but for those of you who are, use this: http://www.mygrocerydeals.com
It’s a neat looking engine to use for deals at your local favorite grocery store(s). Enjoy!!!

I am feeling like a quilter wanna be and I LOVE IT! I signed up on AllPeopleQuilt and got brave to ask for material donations.. and I have a few sweet darling women donating material and floss and whatever to me! OH JOY!! I am so happy. I hope they know I will be a quilting mad-woman when I get this stuff. Today I had a quilt waiting for black thread. A friend of mine has plenty or spools given to he by another friend and with in and hour or so of coming home – i got it done, the applique and the binding! WahLah! A hangin quilt done. i cannot show the photos because it’s a gift and i cannot have the people getting it see it befoe hand!!
I will post this… a baby quilt i made for our group. We make quilts for babies being dedicated at a local Guatemalan church. I made this one up. It’s not done but here’s the progress…
The FIRST THREE were various IDEAS, the next three are the final idea being assembled, now I need to bind!

“I got you!”
My son ran up to me and said this and my husband and I laughed! My daughter’s first sentence was “I want that!” So you see their two diffferent upbringings and personalities in just one sentence. So cute!!!
Had to share.

Ok, so I bet your wondering.. where’s the quilt? heehee, After further examination of the pattern purple I was going to use, it’s was more blue than the other purple I was going to use… UGH! SO I have had to be patient until I can get material. We searched in the city this week and nothing. We just couldn’t find it. So maybe later today, I will just go to the Mercado to get some yards here and there
I have one project kinda started and so many more in my head!!! I am making everything up in my head and then using Photoshop to design and figure out what and how much! The one here I call Shutters. I know… pretty ugly, for now, I am working on it! Pray I can get material.
