Hello… so what are we up to? We’re cleaning the house real good.. one, it needs it and two, i like to come back from a trip with the house in decent order… heehee. With this we’re cleaning so much. Today, my husband took the kids car seats out of the car and I cleaned them! How long have those raisins been there? UGH! The seat covers are ALL perty now and I even re-checked the belt adjustments. For both kids the seats were getting too tight so I knew we needed to adjust them to their growing size! YEAH! I dont know about you but I like getting these things off my check list.
I am starting to think about packing, like the weather in all the places we’re going and how to pack minimally gong up! I am making sure I have all the Time/Date/Places all figured out before we go. What are we doing where and what do we need etc? It’s best to do as much as I can before we go so when we go, we just fall in place. Oh if it were a perfect world! But I make sure we’ve left room for changes and traffic and weather! Things out of our control and we KNOW it will happen. I believe God challenges us to truely reveal our walk with HIM! I love it (God’s ways, not being challenged)! Because it surely challenges me and in most cases I say, “you;’re right God, when he says ‘LET IT GO!” heeheee
I have prayer requests I am emailing but realized it may be easiest to post here:
I trust you and your prayer teams will pray as you are led to do so, and any prayers are GREATLY appreciated!
- We have items in the storage unit to sell (table, chairs, 1966 malibu parts, wet/dry vac, ladder, etc)
- We need a projector to use during our travels in the states for our presentation , it can be returned to the owner after we leave Nov 7. Although we’ve been praying for one to use here in the field to show the Jesus film and other evangelical videos
- We need to buy tickets to return next year – so we’d need $800 for the four of us to come to the states in 2009 to keep our passports current and legal.
- We need to pay for luggage & pre-assigned seats to COME to the US or to RETURN to GUA on Spirit Air.
- Eight bags is what we need round trip for a total is $190
- They now charge for seat reservations *sigh* For the trips up and back, the total is $60
- We need to raise gas money for our tour. We have estimated $500 for gas total.
- Above all… just PRAYER… we cannot be here or there without it!!! In addition, please pray for our preparation, the print materials, the presentation, the limited packing and our home here while we’re gone, the ability to pay rent before we leave, pray for our travels (security with kids, carry ons and car seats), for use to bathe in GOD and give HIM the GLORY in it all!Again, Thank you!

I did want to add more prayers right now for any prayer warriors out there. By posting these here, i want them off my shoulders and in the hands of prayer warriors!!! Thank you in advance for sharing this, our burden is light as we all help one another and stand in agreement in seeking Jesus for it all! We need to unite together in this all. It’s not easy to do alone and we’re not called to do it alone. We need the BODY to unite and know that in it all – Our God Reigns!!
- we are scheduled for a USA tour in October:
- pray for the scheduling – the goal is church visit, but want to sneak in family time too
- pray for the gas money we need to raise to do the tour
- pray for our lodging to be set up
- pray for our return the the field, we’ll need to buy a ticket back to be allowed to go back tot he field – yes it’s the law to have a ticket back and we don’t… rigth now.
- pray for us to stay focused on presenting the calling God’s given us and help others submit to what God’s calling them to do in their lives. Their purpose for HIM. It’s challenging and rewarding.
We do say we trust and know God has all of this prepared for in advance. Pray we do what HE wants us to do in seeking HIS plan in it all.
Blessings to you. This was tough. I’m not used to publicizing these kinds of details but for the past 2 months or God has challenged me to reach out to the BODY for help! Then God will touch and move others to help. If I didn’t do this, then I would be in God’s way and He couldn’t use you for Him. (i hope that makes sense). We’re in this together. *HUGS*

My in-laws’ last day here, I got so sick!!! My daughter did to. Then they left and the same day we got friends to host for four days. I was about 80% cooking and cleaning and hosting. I had a missions committee meeting i wasn’t ready for and then our cash has run out way before the month’s end. So we get creative! God is awesome and I rework leftovers and dig in the back of the pantry and whip up some good dinners.
The rain keeps coming and our windows leak. I am so thank ful for our home and that we dont have dirt floors like many around us. I pray God leads others to help us get solid foundations and walls (homes) for those who God leads us to help. We very much need to raise for the ministry. Prsay with us in how God has us to do all this His Way in His Time.
As our friends left today, i am reminded of the states and how i do miss it some, but we’ll be there soon enough in October. My meering today went well and seems i was as prepared as i needed to be. The rains were ok for us to get home, but we came home to more water on the floor and calls about flooded streets and retaining walls that fell on the roads.
No matter where you live, know others live differently. Lift others in prayer for them to seek God in everything!

I belong to a Mom’s group for us who had babies in February. Most of us have been on since we found out we were prego. Well I just got back from our trip and was catching up on the group and found out that sweet Clayre has drowned in the family pool. The email from her mommy was this:
“Clayre drowned in the pool this morning. We are absolutely devastated and completely lost. She was our first and only and Joe and I feel so empty. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE- if you have a pool safeguard it! You
never think that it will happen to you but it can happen to the best parents with no warning. The pool fence had been ordered and was 2 weeks from being installed. What else is there to say? This is a nightmare…”
Please, if you have a pool, put up a Pool gate, alarm, or fence for the safety of your children and other children that might wander in you rback yard (relatives or neighbors). Lets not let this tragic accident be forgotten for all who have a pool.
The paper article is this:

Her mom also emailed us that a fund has been set up at Bank of America #501000262965 “The Clayre Rukavina Funeral Fund” She says, “ALL proceeds will go to families who can’t afford pool alarms/ covers/ gates.”
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for anything other than passing on this information. You give money at your own risk. I know I will give as God leads us to. I am a stickler for SAFETY!!!!

After news of a peer passing very unexpectedly, my mind has been consumed of her family still left on earth. There are three children now without their biological parents and a lot for a family to do. I lift them all in prayer. I cannot imagine the circus. So with this, my day was simplified.
After emails and prayers, I spent time with my children, hugging them and telling them I love them. I also retalked to hubby about our lack of Wills and final instructions. We both agree to get on this sooner than later. It’s better to deal with death when you’re not dying (not that you know of). So the decisions will be made and done and those left can grieve without the addition of decision making.
My husband and I are very comfortable with our “life after death” – We have each accepted Jesus into our hearts (read more on our bio page), we let our children know Jesus loves them. In their time, we pray that they too accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. It just so happens at church we’re studying “Daniel” (Beth Moore study) and it’s awesome, I am SO excited about HEAVEN, the real deal and all! Woo Hoo! It’s not just puffy clouds and stuff
So my day was simplified. I am praying for those who have not and those who don’t know they need to honestly make a choice from their heart to accept and confess Jesus as their Savior. It is VERY real. Before Sept 1997, I didn’t believe a lick. But I am very sure now of how REAL this all very much is to me and all I come in contact with on earth.
Temporarily here, serving the One True God, awaiting to be taken to the Eternal Home when God says so.
